The Lebanese maison said it would postpone its Spring/Summer 2021 collection, initially slated to take place January 27. “We feel concerned by the alarming levels of this growing wave and its severity and we consider that collective responsibility is key to overcome this situation,” the brand said in a statement, adding that it would announce new dates for the presentation in due course.

Other brands on the Paris Fashion Week menswear and haute couture schedules are still going ahead with their shows, even as France imposes a 6pm nationwide curfew to slow the spread of coronavirus. Louis Vuitton, Hermès, and Dior will stage menswear shows this week. Valentino and Fendi’s couture shows will be livestreamed on January 26 and 27, respectively, while Alaïa is hosting an in-person all-day presentation for its latest ready-to-wear collection in Paris on January 25.
