Resist Old Routines When Returning to the Office (Harvard Business Review)
Scrutinise and eliminate activities that were considered a norm previously but are no longer required — for example, daily in-person morning meetings held in a conference room at the office.
Talk to colleagues in the field, observe what you see others doing, and get a sense of what the norms are. Your goal is to figure out if your scheduled hours are correct and that this is what you can expect in this field.
Everything should be rooted in your values. One of the best ways to clarify those values is to test them, to put them to the heat and see if that challenges or changes your thinking.
